Commenters
When you comment on the NextStop Blog, we ask for information such as your name and valid e-mail address. We will utilize this information to respond to comments and emails for Blog-related purposes only. We do not share any personally identifying data about our Blog commenters with anyone.
Site Members
When you register as a NextStop Site Member, we ask for information such as your name, e-mail address, birth date, gender, ZIP code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. We may use this information for Blog-related purposes and other purposes, including sending email updates to you with transit advocacy action items, or potentially providing the information to a third party for transit advocacy purposes only. You will receive a password and account designation upon completing the NextStop Site Member registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify NextStop of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. NextStop cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section. You can be confident that we do not sell or exchange names or any other information about our Site Members with third parties for commercial purposes or anything other than transit advocacy purposes.
Please note that NextStop does not knowingly collect any personal information from persons under the age of 13.
