The air smells like sparklers and hot dogs and American flags.  And you want to see music!  And fireworks!  Under the Arch!  Eating hot dogs!

If you are planning on taking MetroLink to Fair St. Louis or Live on the Levee this weekend, here is information on the holiday service:

Friday, July 3
MetroLink will operate on a weekday schedule, but will extend its 15-minute peak service from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. After 11:00 p.m., a normal weekday schedule will operate until the end of service.

Saturday, July 4
MetroLink will operate on a weekend schedule, but will extend its 15-minute peak service from 9:00 a.m.to 11:00 p.m. After 11:00 p.m., a normal weekend schedule will operate until the end of service.

Or on MetroBus:

Friday, July 3
MetroBus will operate on a weekday schedule.

Saturday, July 4
MetroBus will operate on a Sunday schedule.

There will be Metro ambassadors at many downtown and midtown St. Louis stations to help riders, so don’t be afraid to ask for assistance.
